Südtirol Guest Pass
Relaxing holidays: explore South Tyrol's cities and landscapes with just one ticket
A number of accommodation facilities across South Tyrol offer Südtirol Guest Passes. They can be used to travel comfortably and flexibly on all means of public transport in South Tyrol, and in some cases they also contain additional offers.
Please note that Südtirol Guest Pass tickets are not valid on long-distance or high-speed trains (EC, Freccia, Italo, Railjet etc.), for transporting bicycles or pets and on the following services: 439 (shuttle bus; Monguelfo/Welsberg – Lago di Braies/Pragser Wildsee), 440 (Passo Monte Croce/ Kreuzbergpass - Val Fiscalina/Fischleintal - Sesto/Sexten), 442 (Dobbiaco/Toblach – Lago di Braies/Pragser Wildsee) during the summer season and 444 (shuttle bus; Dobbiaco/Toblach – Three Peaks/Auronzo),
Some passes even include tickets to a number of museums and collections and a variety of additional offers at your holiday destination. To find out more, simply ask your host or local tourist office.
In order to use the services included in your Südtirol Guest Pass during your stay, please remember to write your name as well as the date and duration of your stay on the back of the ticket.
In order to validate and use your ticket, you will need to check in your Südtirol Guest Pass at the start of each journey using one of the blue ticket validation machines on the bus or at the train station:
- If your Südtirol Guest Pass has a magnetic stripe, simply insert it into the blue ticket validation machine from above, i.e. using the slot at the top of the machine.
- If your Südtirol Guest Pass is a contactless ticket, simply hold it in front of the sensor of the blue ticket validation machines.
Remember to check in every time you board a bus or train, otherwise your ticket will not be valid.
