Mobility across borders: explore South Tyrol, Tyrol and Trentino by bus and train

One ticket, a full day, three regions: The brand-new Euregio 2 Plus day pass opens doors and transcends borders. It can be used on all means of public transport in South Tyrol, Tyrol and Trentino by groups of up to five people consisting of a maximum of two adults and three children up to 14 years of  age. And because the Euregio 2 Plus day pass is not a family ticket, it can be used by passengers who are not related.

South Tyrol

Euregio 2 Plus day passes are available:

This ticket is also available online on the app südtirolmobil.

Where to use: on buses and regional trains within the südtirolmobil network, on südtirolmobil cable-car services to Renon/Ritten, on the Renon/Ritten light railway and on the Mendola/Mendel funicular. On the 273 bus service: anywhere along the route Malles/Mals – Nauders – Martina. On the 811 bus service: anywhere between Malles/Mals and Müstair (Swiss border).

Euregio 2 Plus day passes valid on the day on which you first activate them. When travelling in South Tyrol, remember to check in at the start of each journey by inserting your ticket into the blue ticket validation machine from above, i.e. using the slot at the top of the machine. In Trentino and Tyrol, simply show your Euregio 2 Plus day pass at the ticket inspector's request.

Please note that the pass is not valid on long-distance or high-speed rail services (EC, Freccia, Italo, Railjet etc.), on cable-car journeys to Colle/Kohlern, Meltina/Mölten, Verano/Vöran and Maranza/Meransen, on some bus services of exclusively tourist interest and on train services with special bicycle carriages running between San Candido/Innichen and Lienz.

Trentino

Euregio 2 Plus day passes are available:

  • from all Trentino Trasporti ticket offices and
  • from all Trenitalia ticket offices

Where to use: on all bus services run by Trentino Trasporti, on all regional trains to and from Borghetto, between Trento and Malè as well as Trento and Primolano (Valsugana) and on cable car services from Trento to Sardagna.

In Trentino, Euregio 2 Plus day passes are issued as paper tickets that must be shown at the ticket inspector's request.

Please note that the pass is not valid on long-distance or high-speed rail services (EC, Freccia, Italo etc.) and on Bikebus services running along the route Trento – Primolano (Valsugana) and Trento – Malè.

Tyrol (A)

Euregio 2 Plus day passes are available:

  • on all buses (except in Innsbruck)
  • from all ÖBB ticket machines
  • from all ticket offices and sales points
  • and from the VVT online ticket shop

Where to use: on all local public transport services in the Tyrol region and on network services in the so-called corridor and cross-border zones as defined by the VVT public transport network.

In Tyrol, Euregio 2 Plus day passes are issued on paper or as e-tickets that must be shown at the ticket inspector's request.
