The changeover to the new südtirolmobil ticketing system is in full swing. During the last week, the ticketing systems on the buses of the city routes have been activated and from today, Monday 18 March 2024, they will be extended to the regional buses as well.
What’s new?
1. QR code tickets
Available at südtirolmobil Infopoints, authorised points of sale and via the südtirolmobil app, the new QR code tickets simplify the validation process when checking in on buses. Simply place the ticket in the lower part of the ticket validator and wait for the OK to appear on the screen and for an audible signal.
2. City buses: vending machines back in operation
On the city bus lines, except for Merano/Meran, the vending machines have been reactivated for the purchase of the new QR code tickets. Illustrations have also been put up inside the buses to guide users to the new validation system.
3. Südtirolmobil app for mobile ticketing
The smartest solution for buying and validating tickets online. It allows you to be independent of ticket and validating machines, and your ticket is always just a click away.
