Temporary closure of the Bolzano/Bozen - Merano/Meran railway line

On Saturday, 13 January 2024, the railway line between Merano/Meran and Bolzano/Bozen will be closed in both directions for track maintenance work by infrastructure manager RFI. Trains at the following times will be cancelled and replaced by buses:

• Bolzano/Bozen (station): departures at 1:35 p.m. and 3:35 p.m.
• Merano/Meran (station): departures at 2:17 p.m. and 3:47 p.m.

Replacement bus service

The route will be served by the following buses, which will run concurrently:

• “ Express” bus number B200 travelling on the MeBo with the following stops: Bolzano station, Maia Bassa/Untermais station, Merano/Meran station (opposite direction);
• bus on the regular Merano/Meran- Bolzano/Bozen line. The Bolzano Sud/Bozen Süd and Bolzano Casanova/Bozen Kaiserau railway stops are not served by the replacement buses. In Settequerce/Siebeneich the replacement buses stop at the school; in Gargazzone/Gargazon the bus stop is in the village centre.
